Architectural Digest
The Structure of Food reimagines the brand through a multi-sensory editorial experience that plays on the dual meaning of the word digest. The campaign frames food as architecture, celebrating structure, form, and composition through a curated dining event inspired by the principles of design. Drawing parallels between plated dishes and architectural spaces, the visuals highlight balance and intentionality, reinforcing AD’s authority in taste and curation beyond interiors alone. The creative approach blends refined photography, sculptural food styling, and chic guest collateral to mirror AD’s iconic aesthetic. By treating cuisine with the same reverence as architecture, the campaign expands the brand world while remaining rooted in its core values of craftsmanship, design, and elevated living.
Invite
A handcrafted wooden PR mailer invites 15 guests into the experience through an interactive reveal, which unlocks with a house-shaped key that ties the event back to the concept of home and structure. Engraved with the event name and finished with a tiled top of mixed materials in muted lime, deep chocolate brown, and brassy yellow, the box opens to present the menu on a silver platter with cutlery, signaling luxury, intention, and exclusivity from the first touch.
Venue
The dinner takes place inside an intimate Manhattan townhouse, where a dark chocolate–coated entry arch gives way to a warm, 1970s modernist interior, setting the stage for a refined yet immersive experience with servers in custom white jackets presenting each structural, conceptual course.
Send Off
A curated, AD–branded tote reimagines the classic grocery bag through refined materials and structure, allowing guests to leave with a functional design piece that reinforces the connection between food, architecture, and intentional living.
